Lagos is getting ready for another big cultural event, as the fourth Owanbe Jollof Party will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Amore Gardens, Lekki Phase 1.

The theme this year is “Jolly Don Set,” and the organisers say it will be a bigger and more lively experience than before. The event has become a key part of Lagos's social life in December. It mixes music, fashion, food, and socialising, bringing in local residents and Nigerians who are back for Christmas.

Music star 9ice, famous DJ Neptune, and exciting performer Fujicilogist will be the main acts for the night, with Tomiwa Sage as the host. The organisers believe the 2025 party will be better than previous years, with higher quality production, more creative touches, and more engaging entertainment.

“The Owambe Party is more than an event; it’s a statement of the Lagos spirit. It’s where people come together to celebrate resilience, community, and pure enjoyment,” the planning team said.

Those attending can expect to enjoy a blend of live music, DJ sets, and special guest appearances, all happening within Lagos’ famously lively December nightlife. Fashion will also be a major feature, and guests are asked to dress in full, traditional finery—such as lace, agbada, gele, and other classic outfits that fit the Owambe style.

Food stalls will be offering a range of popular Nigerian dishes. These include small snacks (small chops), party jollof rice, grilled food, spicy soup (pepper soup), and other tasty treats to give everyone a real taste of Nigerian cooking.

Previous Owanbe Jollof Parties have attracted famous people, business leaders, social media figures, and trendsetters, confirming its place as one of the essential events of the season. The organisers also say that this year they will highlight local business owners and creative sellers, giving them a chance to display their clothes, crafts, and handmade goods.

With the busy Christmas season (“Detty December”) approaching, people on social media are already getting excited. Lagos residents are sharing ideas for what to wear, booking tables, and planning get-togethers for what looks set to be another unforgettable night out.
