"Cheating Isn’t a Dealbreaker": Daniel Etim’s Wife Stirs Debate

 Toyosi Etim-Effiong, wife of actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, has shared some honest thoughts on marriage that have caused quite a stir. Speaking on Toke Makinwa’s podcast, Toyosi explained that while she doesn't take cheating lightly, it isn't something she would automatically end her marriage over.

“Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me; this is not encouraging cheating,” she said.

Instead of seeing cheating as an automatic reason to divorce, she looks at it as a hurdle that can be cleared with prayer, effort, and hard work on the relationship.

Toyosi even shared that she started a prayer group for women married to famous men. She explained that it’s a place where wives can pray for their husbands to stay strong against the temptations that often come with being a celebrity.

“We would pray for our husbands in the media and entertainment industry, we must pray for them,” she said.

Apart from faith, Toyosi insisted that for a marriage to last, couples must choose every day to be loving, patient, and honest with each other. She pointed out that for a marriage to really work, both people have to be willing to keep learning about one another.
