Agumba Idemili Slams Oba Community for Abandoning Akwa Okuko

Agumba Idemili, a close friend and brother to Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki Aki, has expressed deep disappointment over how the people of Oba handled Akwa Okuko’s recent ordeal. He believes the community, and particularly the youth, failed to stand by him during his most difficult hour.

According to Agumba, there was an initial plan for the Oba youths and community members to mobilize in large numbers and march to the Anambra State Government House. The goal was to plead with Governor Charles Soludo on Akwa Okuko’s behalf, yet this plan never materialized. He specifically pointed out that the President General (PG) of Oba, who was expected to lead the youths and speak to the government, remained silent throughout the entire situation.

Agumba emphasized that Akwa Okuko is a "true son of the soil" who has consistently used his resources to help the people of Oba. He noted that Akwa supported numerous community initiatives and contributed significantly to local security. Despite this loyalty, Agumba claims the community stood by while the government searched Akwa’s home and shrine—finding nothing incriminating—and proceeded to destroy his properties anyway.

His message serves as a stern warning to the town: if the government can treat such an influential figure this way while the community remains silent, then no one is safe. Agumba’s heartbreak stems from the realization that someone who gave so much to Oba was ultimately left to face his struggles alone.
