Jameson Distillery Experience Brings Three Days of Music, Fashion and Fun to Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt embraced the Jameson spirit as the Jameson Distillery Experience made its first appearance in the city. Held at Yakubu Gowon Stadium from 1 to 3 October 2026, the three-day event blended music, fashion, food, whiskey discovery, skating and games into a vibrant celebration for guests throughout the Independence Weekend.
Combining Jameson's Irish heritage with the distinctive Naija energy of Port Harcourt, the experience gave attendees a variety of ways to engage with the brand, explore its story and enjoy a weekend filled with entertainment, creativity and shared moments.
Throughout the three days, whiskey education remained central to the experience, offering guests insight into Jameson's heritage and craftsmanship. Food and fashion further enriched the atmosphere, giving attendees more ways to enjoy the gathering and connect with one another.
Each day offered its own distinct experience, delivered in partnership with communities and platforms that contributed their own energy and expertise to the programme.
Day One: Skating, Music and Energy with Plus2.34 and Voltage District
The experience opened with a celebration of skating, music and creative expression, in partnership with Plus2.34 and Voltage District. Both communities brought their passion for skating and music to the event, creating a lively atmosphere where guests watched skaters in action, enjoyed live performances and connected over shared interests.
The day's entertainment featured performances by Sons of Ubuntu, Black Dave, WeAreAllChemicals and Ifeme, complemented by DJ sets that kept the energy high. Guests also took part in interactive games, adding a spirit of friendly competition to the opening day.
Day Two: Games, Competition and Good Music with Game Fiesta
Day two introduced a playful, competitive atmosphere dubbed "Play City," created in partnership with Game Fiesta. Familiar games became opportunities for guests to interact, compete and have fun together, with plenty of ways to take part, challenge friends and enjoy the experience beyond the music.
Music was another major highlight, with Peruzzi delivering a standout performance. DJ Kaydee, DJ Faithful and DJ Diamond took to the decks, while Hypeman Mayor and Pandora kept the energy high. Real Chuksy and Annie Drumz added to the entertainment, bringing together live music, DJ sets and games for an engaging Jameson experience.
Day Three: Water Games and Entertainment with Whetlvnd
The final day offered a different kind of fun through Whetlvnd, which brought its waterpark-inspired experience to the Jameson Distillery. Guests enjoyed water-based games and splashing activities, a refreshing change of pace and a fitting way to round off the three-day experience with friends.
Shoday headlined the day's music programme, with additional performances from Titanium and Mia. DJ Ewheelz, DJ General, DJ Rekii, DJ Fanny and DJ White kept the music flowing, while Mr Barango hosted the day, with appearances from Major Phylix and others.
