Reality TV star and model Faith Morey has spoken candidly about her long struggle with cancer, sharing how the diagnosis completely changed her life and her sense of purpose.
In a chat on the Tea With Tay podcast, Morey revealed she was diagnosed with cancer about four to five years ago – a moment she described as utterly life-changing.
At the time, Morey was living a quiet life on a ranch with her son, enjoying a slower pace away from the limelight. However, her diagnosis pushed her into a period of deep self-reflection.
“The news really hit me. I started thinking about what I would leave behind for my son,” she said.
She remembered how, on hearing the diagnosis, her thoughts immediately turned to her son and the legacy she wished to leave behind – not just memories, but also the values and strength he could take forward.
“Most people didn’t know about that… I remember just looking at [the doctor] and all I thought about was what will people tell my child… not the day I was buried, but what legacy I’ve left.”
Morey admitted the illness became a turning point in her life, pushing her to be more intentional and purpose-driven.
“At that time, I had put my dream on hold. I was just Faith—relaxed on a ranch because I had lived and thought that was it. I told God that if I go through this and I come out alive, I would never play small.”
