Arizona delegate Joe Neglia was among the first individuals captured on camera donning an ear bandage during the second evening of the convention. Neglia shared with CBS News that he improvised by folding up an envelope during the bus ride to the event, using it as a makeshift bandage on his right ear.

“This is the newest fashion trend. I’m getting this going. Everybody in the world is going to be wearing these pretty soon,” Neglia said.

Yvonne Jegede Criticizes ‘Small-minded’ Nedu Wazobia for Discussing Her

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has publicly criticized media personality Nedu Wazobia for his recent remarks about her, in response to her public apology for statements made on The Honest Bunch Podcast.

On June 13, 2024 Instagram post, Jegede shared a photo of Nedu and publicly criticized him, labeling him as narcissistic and toxic.

She wrote, “I woke up to see Nedu’s post reacting to my appearance on the podcast, particularly my apology to May Edochie and women in general. I understand Nedu’s difficulty in comprehending my apology.

Narcissistic and toxic men like him cannot grasp the importance of apologising when others feel hurt by your actions, regardless of whether you believe you are right or wrong.”

In her detailed post, Jegede was direct, accusing Nedu of actively promoting negative narratives about women. She also went on to claim that he harbored a dislike for women and their achievements.

“Small-minded people like you rejoice when women attack each other or are trampled upon. Check the history of your podcast; it is filled with content targeting women’s self-esteem. Perhaps the rumour about you is true—you don’t like women! Nedu, there’s nothing wrong with women winning and shining; it doesn’t diminish you or any other man.”

The actress continued by criticizing Nedu for what she saw as his lack of support. She accused him of not promoting her movie “A Father’s Love” during her podcast appearance.

“You are so evil that you didn’t even promote A Father’s Love, the movie I came to discuss on your show. Instead, you were all over my WhatsApp, telling me how much you like me, and now you join the mob and chase clout with your petty posts. I was raised to apologise if I was wrong and to those who felt hurt by my actions,” Jegede continued.

She also said, “If I didn’t own what I said with conviction, I wouldn’t come out to apologise when it was pointed out that some women and May felt offended. My apology was directed at those who clearly expressed their hurt. Take all the money you want from Facebook and YouTube, but posterity always judges those who stand against women and profit at the expense of others. A small-minded man like you will never understand the need for an apology, even when he is wrong.”

The conflict arose when Jegede appeared on the podcast and later publicly apologized to actress May Edochie and women in general for her previous remarks. Initially, she had expressed support for actor Yul Edochie marrying Judy Austin as a second wife to May, citing irony in the public backlash given that some critics came from polygamous backgrounds.

In her apology, she clarified that she did not intend to downplay May’s concerns but rather aimed to emphasize the prevalence of polygamy in Nigerian society. Jegede also promptly apologized for her comments made during the podcast.

In response, Nedu then voiced his opinion on social media, saying, “If you talk, use your chest to stand by your words. Still Number 1.”

Nowhere, nobody will try. Nobody will try me. You know in any office you are in this country they know everything about you. And when they know they will not come near. If I see it, I will not allow it.

Diddy Accuser’s Ex Alleges $3 Million Bribe Offer to Support Rape Claims

Recall that Thalia Graves had filed a lawsuit against Diddy, 54, and former bodyguard Joseph Sherman, alleging that they raped her in 2001 and that the music mogul recorded the incident.

In her complaint, Graves says she met Diddy through her then-boyfriend who worked as an executive at Bad Boy Records.

Now, TMZ claims to have reviewed a 2023 text exchange between Graves and her ex-boyfriend where she mentions suing Diddy “because he’s the one that has the money,” and allegedly appears to offer him money for support after asking him if he’s seen the alleged video of her assault.

What do you n$3 mil?” Graves allegedly wrote in the text message.

The ex-boyfriend reportedly confirmed the texts to TMZ, telling the publication that he viewed them as a bribe attempt, and subsequently blocked Graves’ phone number and her social media accounts.

Lawyers for Diddy are said to also have copies of the alleged text conversation.

“It is very common that rich powerful men and their supporters attempt to discredit, shame, and humiliate accusers who have the courage to come forward,” Graves’ attorney Gloria Allred tells Complex.

“The complaint speaks for itself. Our client is looking forward to her day in court.”

Last week, former bodyguard Joseph Sherman, a.k.a “Big Joe,” denied knowing Graves or working for Diddy at the time of the alleged sexual assault.

The music mogul, 54, is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York after he was indicted for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution earlier last month.

I’m not questioning her integrity. I’m questioning her claims against me,” Sherman told Sarah Wallace for WNBC. “I wasn’t the head of his security. You got the wrong man. I’ve never seen you. I’ve never did anything negative with you. I’ve never been in the same room with you.

“Rumors Emerge Over VeryDarkMan’s Alleged Mercedes Benz Purchase Amid ₦180 Million NGO Fund Controversy”

This comes in the wake of allegations that ₦180 million has been misappropriated from a ₦200 million NGO fund.

The situation gained attention through a post shared by a user on the popular platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

The post was a reaction to reports indicating that VeryDarkMan had lost ₦180 million due to a hack on his NGO website.

In response, the influencer voiced skepticism, noting that shortly after the news of the alleged theft broke, rumors began circulating about VeryDarkMan’s purchase of a Mercedes Benz AMG.

The influencer’s statement read: “VeryDarkMan said ₦180 million is missing because his NGO site was hacked. Today, we heard he bought a Mercedes Benz AMG. My question is: Is the money in a bank account opened for the NGO, or was it on the website? Please explain to us like we’re in primary school.”

He further called on VeryDarkMan to clarify where the money was stored-whether it was in the NGO’s bank account or on the website.

The post exploded, with a wave of worried comments pouring in. People were eager to share their thoughts.

Let’s take a look at some of the reactions:

@Engr_Ashile: “Money can make anybody do whatever they preach against.”

@buzzedison: “What I have been wondering. The money cannot be sitting on a website.”

@Ashabul_Jannaah: “If I speak my mind now, they’ll say it’s because I don’t like him. But honestly, 160 million missing and a Benz showing up? Even primary 2 pupils would ask for an explanation. Transparency isn’t too much to ask.”

@VivaDido: “They can’t hack his bank account through his website. Websites do not hold money, but can only be used to set a payment gateway. For money to be stolen, it has to be directly with the bank and the information for such would only be with the acct holder, not in the website.”

@StarCroft_Arch: “Y’all are falling into a trap… dude never lost the money… he is only playing… Just waiting to hear back.”
