Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asserted that Vladimir Putin "will d!e soon," amidst unverified reports suggesting that the Russian leader is struggling with health issues.
Zelensky made this statement during an interview with journalists in Paris, following a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron the previous day. He emphasized, "He (Putin) will d!e soon, and that's a fact, and it will come to an end."
For years, Putin has been the subject of speculation regarding his health. The 72-year-old has recently exhibited signs such as a puffy face, a twitching leg, and bloodshot eyes, which have only intensified these rumors.
A notable incident occurred in 2022, where Putin was seen slouching in his chair, gripping a table, and slurring his words during a meeting with then-Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
Additionally, there are claims that he may be suffering from conditions like cancer and Parkinson's Disease, with reports of persistent coughing and involuntary movements in his hands and feet.
In the same interview, Zelensky also suggested that Putin is attempting to "hit the European Union from within," referring to more Russia-friendly members of the bloc, such as Hungary.
