In a recent episode of Sharing with Seyi, singer and actress Seyi Shay shared a fascinating memory from her acting debut in the 2018 Nollywood film Lara and the Beat.
Remember those scenes between her and Vector the Viper that everyone was chatting about? Well, it seems the chemistry was genuine!
"Vector and I... we were actually an item," she revealed.
Yes, before they became famous, they were an item. So, when they acted together again years later, it was easy for them to get back into their characters.
The funny thing? Vector's wife was on set – for every scene, every kiss. And according to Seyi, she was incredibly good-natured: "She was like, 'Oh yes, go on, do the kiss!'" Even Vector was giving her a bit of a look during the scenes.
Despite the slightly awkward situation, Seyi says there was only love and professionalism on set. "He and I have stayed great mates, no matter what."
