Afrobeat star Charles Onyeabor Sells Out Iconic Hard Rock Café in Italy

 Nigerian Afrobeat star Charles Onyeabor made history in Italy on 24th October 2025 by completely selling out the famous Hard Rock Café in Florence (Firenze).

Charles, whose father is the legendary Afro-funk artist William Onyeabor, put on an incredibly energetic show. He effortlessly mixed Afrobeat, soul, funk, and modern rhythms, creating a sound that is uniquely his own.

He owned the stage with a captivating presence, performing popular tracks like “Ifenkili,” “As e dey play, e dey show,” and his recent club banger “Cho Cho Cho.” The audience was on their feet and dancing throughout the entire performance.

The evening also featured a brilliant roster of guest acts, including DJ Obas, DJ Top Gee, UK-based Afrobeat figure Adesope Olajide (Shopsydoo), Henry Afrobeat Rome, Young Game, and Pharrow, amongst others.
