Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Awarded "Warrior" Title

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, received a new traditional title in Gombe State on Thursday, October 2. 

She was honored with the name “Sarauniya Yakin Kumo,” which means the Queen Warrior of the Akko Emirate. 

Her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, announced this on X, celebrating her as the "Queen Warrior of Akko Emirate." 

The First Lady arrived in Gombe for a two-day official visit. She was greeted by Governor Inuwa Yahaya and is scheduled to open the Health Summit organized by the state government on October 2 and 3, 2025. 

This summit is designed to discuss major problems in healthcare, find solutions, and show what the Gombe State government has achieved in that sector.
