Regina Daniels Needs Help with Drug/Alcohol Problem, says AGN President Emeka Rollas

Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN

Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has publicly challenged veteran Nollywood actors who know about Regina Daniels' alleged drug or alcohol problem (substance abuse).

The AGN President shared this view in a statement posted on his Instagram page. The goal was to clear up what he called "many claims, misunderstandings, and needless accusations."

Rollas mentioned that Senator Ned Nwoko is the Chairman of the AGN’s Board of Patrons, and both actress Regina Daniels and her mother, Rita Daniels, are members. He noted that many people have been contacting him, asking him to respond to the ongoing row (crisis) involving them.

Explaining that "I have a duty to myself, to the Guild, and to the public to speak the truth plainly and responsibly," Rollas specifically named Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji, Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, and Chinyere Wilfred. He said these individuals have all seen Regina Daniels allegedly misuse drugs or alcohol (abusing substances) while on film sets (movie locations).

Questioning why they have kept quiet, Emeka Rollas stated that they all knew Regina needed support and help.

For years, the Board of Trustees has allowed me to stand at the frontline of battles, while they protect their reputations from behind. Many senior colleagues know the truth surrounding recent events, yet they have remained silent.

“I am calling on those who were present at the last series shoot and fully aware of what is happening. Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and Sanni Danji. You were all on set during the last production in question. You saw things firsthand, regarding Regina and we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair, and it leaves me exposed to attacks for matters I did not create.

While we were planning our roundtable meeting in South Africa, Senator Nwoko called me and gave me a condition that he would only allow Regina to travel if I promised she wouldn’t travel through Lagos. This is a fact, and I state it because it has been twisted against me repeatedly
