Ayo Maff and Chris Ihidero Team Up for New Afrobeats-Infused Film ‘Aloma’

Nigerian singer Ayo Maff has recorded a brand-new Afrobeats song for Chris Ihidero’s upcoming film, Aloma. The news was announced at NECLive 2025, where Ihidero praised the singer’s talent and the great energy he brought to the set.
Ihidero explained that the track was written specifically for the movie to help bring the story to life. He added that the entire production team was impressed by how versatile Ayo Maff is as an artist.
Interestingly, Aloma also features Ayo Maff’s first-ever acting role. The "Dealer" singer shared that acting has always been his second passion after music, making this project a dream come true.
