IShowSpeed Hits 50M Subscribers During 21st Birthday Trip to Nigeria

American star IShowSpeed has hit a huge milestone, reaching 50 million subscribers while touring Nigeria. The 21-year-old arrived in Lagos on Wednesday, right in time for his birthday celebrations.

His trip to Nigeria is part of a massive tour of Africa that started in late December. So far, he has visited around 15 countries, drawing huge crowds wherever he goes. His success is no surprise; Rolling Stone recently named him the most influential creator of 2025, and Forbes estimates he is worth about £16 million ($20 million).

While in Lagos, he visited the famous Balogun Market. The experience was a bit of a shock for the streamer, as he was quickly surrounded by fans. Feeling a bit confused by the local dialect, he said, “It’s like they’re speaking English, but a different kind,” before security helped him navigate through the crowds.
