Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, delivered a moving public address following his tragic death on Wednesday.
Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. Authorities have since arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with the killing.
In her remarks, Erika Kirk made a solemn promise to her late husband: "Charlie, I promise, I will never let your legacy die. I won't. I'll make TPUSA the biggest thing this nation has ever seen. I promise."
Erika Kirk vowed that her husband's mission would be "stronger, bolder, louder and greater than ever" and that his movement would not die. She urged high school and college students to honor his memory by starting or joining Turning Point USA chapters.
Directly addressing "the evildoers responsible for my husband's assassination," she declared, "you have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry."
She spoke of her husband's deep faith, patriotism, and love for his family, saying he "laid down his life for me, for our nation, for our children." In a particularly heartbreaking moment, she shared how she had to tell her three-year-old daughter that her father was on a "work trip with Jesus."
Erika Kirk also expressed her gratitude for the swift response of law enforcement in capturing the suspect. Additionally, she thanked President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance for their personal support during this difficult time.
