Dami Marshal Clarifies Relationship Status Amid Asake Romance Rumors

Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal, daughter of the famous Fuji musician Kwam 1, has dismissed rumours that she is dating singer Asake.

Dami, who works for the Governor of Lagos State as a senior advisor on tourism and culture, caused a stir online after posting a photo with the singer. She had captioned the post, "Mr Money and Mrs Money," which led many to believe they were dating.

However, the lawyer has now set the record straight. She explained that the photo was taken the very first time they met and confirmed there is nothing romantic going on between them.

“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” Miss Marshall shared the news on her Instagram page.

Asake, who usually keeps his private life quiet, hasn't confirmed he is dating anyone since his reported split from his Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2024.
