Nigerian superstar Davido has officially announced his first-ever curated festival in the UK, titled "Davido & Friends." Scheduled for August 14, 2026, the event will take place at London’s historic Crystal Palace Bowl.
Taking to social media to break the news, the Grammy-nominated artiste wrote: “For the first time ever I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th. Sign up for first access.”
He also announced ticket details, adding, “Pre-sale 26 March 10am GMT Gen-sale 27 March 10am GMT.”
Unlike a standard concert, Davido is taking full performance control. He will headline the show and personally hand-pick the entire supporting lineup. While he hasn’t revealed his "Friends" yet, the title has fans speculating about major surprise guest appearances. This will be his only outdoor performance in London for the entire summer.
The choice of the Crystal Palace Bowl is significant. Since 1961, this 15,000-capacity open-air arena has hosted some of the world's greatest music legends. Davido’s festival is part of the "Palace Bowl Presents" summer series, which runs from July 31 to August 16 and features other global icons like Kirk Franklin and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
This announcement follows a massive year for Davido. His 2025 album, 5ive, was a global success, and this festival serves as a victory lap to cement his influence on the international Afrobeats scene.
