During the 2026 Women of Fire Prayer conference in Tanzania, Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh shared a deeply personal and emotional testimony about her past. She opened up about the dark struggles she once faced and credited her faith for completely transforming her life.

The 40-year-old recounted being fully immersed in a “wicked world,” where she joined cults and “operated and worked for demons so hard.”

Reflecting on her past, she said, “In the midst of trying to navigate life. I have put my hands in so much dirt, so many filthy things. I have joined cults, operated and worked for the demons so hard.”

Tonto Dikeh attributed her complete life transformation solely to divine intervention, boldly declaring, “He dragged me out of hell.”

“If you have ever doubted God, just look at me. He does not care about what you have been through or what you have done.”

She contrasted her past with her present, saying, “From a drug addict to an altar that praises God. From a devil worshipper to a woman who will pray to God with fire.”

Tonto Dikeh, who has previously shared her journey of overcoming struggles with addiction, anger, and sexual immorality, has become increasingly active in Christian ministry. Her spiritual work recently gained widespread attention after a video of her leading a deliverance session for a schoolgirl went viral.
