"Cowards" – Yul Edochie defends Igbos who support Tinubu against tribal backlash.

Nollywood actor and politician Yul Edochie has sparked a heated debate after calling out Igbos who attack their fellow kinsmen for supporting President Bola Tinubu.

In a post shared on X this Saturday, Edochie slammed such critics, describing their behavior as an act of cowardice.

“Any Igbo man that is dragging his fellow Igbo man for supporting President TINUBU, that person is a monkey and a coward.”

He contended that critics of supporting the president often apply a double standard, failing to hold people from other regions to the same level of scrutiny.

“Show me a video of you dragging Yorubas who are supporting TINUBU. Show me a video of you dragging Northerners who are supporting Tinubu. Show me a video of you dragging all the past leaders who couldn’t fix Nigeria. Show me a video of you dragging Northern celebrities that support Tinubu. None,” Mr Edochie said.

President Tinubu’s “City Boy” movement is already gaining momentum across the country, even in the South-East, where high-profile figures like Obi Cubana are reportedly spearheading local mobilization.
