Kelly Rowland Shares the Secret Sauce Behind Her Long-Lasting Marriage

Kelly Rowland recently shared the secret behind her long marriage, and it’s surprisingly straightforward: you actually have to like your partner.

The 45-year-old singer and actress has been with her husband, 52-year-old talent manager Tim Weatherspoon, for 12 years. The couple tied the knot back in 2014.

While speaking to reporters at an event for Eli Lilly’s eczema treatment, Ebyglyss, Rowland opened up about what keeps their relationship so strong after more than a decade together.

“I like him,” she saidof her husband. “I genuinely like him as a person. I think he’s a great man … so smart, and handsome, and he has great music taste, and he’s really good with our kids.”

The couple shares two sons—11-year-old Titan Jewell and 5-year-old Noah Jon—and family time is clearly a major priority for the Grammy winner. Rowland even brought both boys along on her recent Boy is Mine Tour, where they got to watch her rehearse before every single show.

However, not everyone in the family was happy when the tour ended. Rowland shared that Titan was "not very happy" to miss out on the fun at the Forever Mine Music Festival in Chicago last month. In fact, he is already trying to convince his mom to launch a brand-new tour just so he can hit the road again.
