Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, who is widely known as Odumodublvck, has accused the record label Chocolate City Music of working together with the police to get him arrested.

The rapper shared these accusations in a series of posts on his social media page on Friday, June 5. He claimed that the record label has tried multiple times to mess with his career events and lock him up right before his planned music tours.

“Chocolate City has been trying to arrest me for the longest time. They tried before my American tour, and now they are trying again with the European tour.”

Odumodublvck also claimed that a legal complaint sent against him through the police did not include proper contact information, which made him worry about his personal safety. He questioned the real reasons behind these legal actions and expressed his frustration that the complaints were timed right when he was supposed to go on tour.

“Sending petitions before my tour so police can detain me… My motion is making them sick.”

However, Chocolate City Music has denied the rapper’s claims.

Speaking with journalists on Friday, Desmond Ezebuiro—the Public Relations Lead for Bean Creative IMC, which is a branch of the Chocolate City Group—stated that the entertainment company does not have the power to order the arrest of anyone.
