Fast Rising Nigerian actress Ogechukwu Anasor also known as Bliss Joseph has shared that she recently underwent cosmetic surgery and is delighted with the results. Speaking to NollyNow, the actress said, “I got my body done and I’m absolutely loving it.”

According to her, the decision was personal. “My body, my money, my choice. It was a personal decision that I made for myself, and I’m happy with it,” she said

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but at the end of the day, it’s my life and my decision. Do what works for you, and allow me to do what works for me. And please, let’s be honest, I’m not the problem of Nigeria,” she added.

The actress, a native of Enugu State with ten years of experience in the industry, stated that resilience and self-belief have been essential to navigating Nollywood. She added that she always resisted directors who tried to pigeonhole her or restrict her career growth.

“Acting has actually helped me discover different parts of myself, build confidence, and embrace my individuality. It’s been a journey of growth both professionally and personally,” she said.

Looking back at her career, the actress admitted she is impressed by her own progress, even though life has forced her to learn resilience, patience, and the importance of self-belief against the odds. “Every challenge has shaped me into a stronger and wiser woman,” she added.

On social media scrutiny, she said she stays focused on her goals and refuses to let public opinion dictate her decisions. “Social media can be loud, but I’ve learned not to let public opinion dictate my decisions. I listen to constructive feedback, but I stay focused on my goals, my growth, and the kind of career I want to build,” she said. She also said she doesn’t let trolling or negative comments distract her. “Not everyone will understand you, and that’s okay. I focus on the people who genuinely support me and the work I’m doing. Protecting my mental space is very important to me.”

Anasor agreed there’s pressure as a celebrity to always look perfect. “I’ve realized that authenticity is more important than perfection. I love looking good, but I also give myself room to simply be human.”

The actress said she’s also sticking to her resolution this year to prioritize her health, meaningful relationships, and personal growth

“It’s still a work in progress, but I’ve become more conscious about protecting my peace, taking care of my health, and investing my time in people and opportunities that align with my values. I’ve learned that living intentionally is not about perfection, it’s about making better choices consistently.”
