BBNaija: “I Want to Be a Gambit,” Says Housemate Kamsy

 Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Kamsy has expressed a strong desire to secure one of the season’s "Gambit" roles, noting that the position guarantees a spot in the grand finale, even if it rules out winning the ₦160 million grand prize.

Speaking during her Wednesday diary session with Big Brother, Kamsy admitted to initial hesitation upon learning that while "Gambit" status grants immunity until the final week, it disqualifies the selected housemates from claiming the ultimate cash prize.

“At first, I was happy. But when I learnt that it does not come with the prize money, I was shocked,” she said.

However, after taking time to process the decision, Kamsy had a change of heart, ultimately deciding that the guaranteed spot in the finale made the sacrifice completely worth it.

“But I then realised it is something I would like,” Kamsy added.

She explained that securing a "Gambit" position would still represent a major personal win, as it ensures an extended run in the house and solidifies her spot among the season's top contenders.

“It’s a win-win for me. Whether I win the prize money or not, I know I will finish in the top three,” she said.

Kamsy also voiced strong confidence in her post-show prospects, maintaining that her overall success and career trajectory would not be determined solely by winning the grand prize.

“Also, whether I win or not, I will forever be rich in this life,” she said.

Introduced by Big Brother on Monday, the "Gambit" twist allows viewers to vote one male and one female housemate directly into the grand finale.

In exchange for guaranteed entry into the finale, the selected housemates relinquish their chance to win the ₦160 million grand prize, though they will continue participating fully in all house activities through the end of the season.
