"You Are Very Foolish Goat": Beauty Tukura Lashes Out at Photographer David Martins

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Beauty Tukura has publicly condemned celebrity wedding photographer David Martins following domestic violence allegations raised by his wife.

The photographer’s wife recently came forward with claims of enduring years of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse throughout their marriage. She specifically detailed an alleged assault on May 7, 2026, stating that Martins attacked her while she was holding their three-month-old son.

Explaining her decision to break her silence after nearly three years, the woman stated that she had previously kept quiet to protect her husband’s reputation. However, growing concerns for her safety and the well-being of her child prompted her to step forward. She noted that the matter has been formally reported to the Lagos State Police Gender Desk Unit, along with notifications sent to the U.S. and Canadian embassies, adding that she possesses photo and video evidence to support her claims.

The revelations have sparked widespread outrage across social media, drawing strong condemnation of domestic abuse from several public figures and members of the public.

Joining the backlash on Instagram, Tukura strongly criticized Martins and urged her followers to immediately unfollow his accounts.

“You are a very foolish goat,” she wrote.

Tukura’s public stance has further amplified the online discourse, sparking widespread discussion among social media users regarding the influence of public figures and the necessity of confronting domestic abuse.

It should be noted, however, that these claims currently remain unverified allegations and have not been proven in a court of law.

At the time of reporting, Martins had not yet issued a public response to his wife’s statements or Tukura’s comments.

Nonetheless, the ongoing controversy has reignited critical conversations around domestic violence, underscoring the urgent need for accessible reporting channels and protective resources for victims.
