BBNaija Season 11 Countdown: 13 Housemates Remain, Two Weeks to the Finale

The Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show is now in its closing stretch, with 13 housemates left in the competition and only two weeks until the grand finale.

The number dropped after Abi and Araga were evicted during Sunday's live eviction show, ending their respective journeys in the competition.

As the finale draws near, the remaining housemates are fighting for places in the final, amid a series of twists and turns introduced by Big Brother.

Barry became the first housemate to secure a place in the grand finale after winning the Week 8 Head of House challenge. His win came with added powers in that week's eviction process, including the authority to save one housemate from possible eviction.

Barry used this power to save Aikou, leaving 11 housemates up for possible eviction: Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Tram, Bells, Yusuf, Temi Nkem, Ricky, Bluethopia, Oyin, Flora and Keivo.

With Barry and Aikou safe, attention turned to the remaining housemates as they fought to survive the eviction round and move closer to the finale.

Abi's eviction ended a campaign in which she emerged as Head of House twice, in Week 4 and Week 6. She also won the Most Influential Player of the Week title during her stay in the House.

Speaking with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after her eviction, Abi said she enjoyed her time in the House, despite moments when the experience became overwhelming. She admitted she was not prepared to leave the show and return to life outside the House. Abi also said she would not particularly miss the friendship she shared with Flora and Oyin.

Araga was evicted shortly afterwards, ending his seven-week stay on the show. Reflecting on his experience, he said he stayed true to himself throughout his time in the House, although he struggled to find his footing in the early weeks of the competition. He credited Goddessa with helping him through that period and described his relationship with her as one that could develop further outside the House. On what the future holds for them, Araga said they would see how things unfold, adding that viewers should expect the unexpected.

Meanwhile, Aikou emerged as the Most Influential Player of the Week, earning Biggie Bucks and a betPawa Spin prize, which includes a microwave oven.

With 13 housemates left and only two weeks to the finale, the competition has entered its decisive phase, and every challenge, nomination and eviction could determine who reaches the final stage of the show.
