Mercy Johnson Slams Power Oil for Using Her Image Years After Contract Expiry

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has publicly called out vegetable oil brand Power Oil, accusing the company of continuing to feature her image in its advertisements four years after her endorsement contract ended.
The actress said she personally saw a billboard bearing her face at Nana Plaza, Wuse 2, Abuja, and questioned why the brand is still using her likeness without consulting or compensating her.

She also shared a video of the original advert she shot for the brand and urged the company to check its DMs and respond to her team.
In a strongly worded message, she appealed to Nigerians to record and share any Power Oil billboard, bus advert, or promotional material still carrying her image, including the date and location.
"It has been years, I have not been paid or compensated for my image being used after the expiration of my contract."
She concluded with a firm message to the brand: "Enough is Enough."
