"BBNaija Season 11: Five Housemates in the Running for the Grand Prize"

With all 10 remaining housemates now guaranteed places in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 finale, attention has shifted from survival to the race for the ultimate prize.

This followed Barry's decision to use his Ultimate Veto Power to grant immunity to all remaining housemates, effectively cancelling the Week Nine eviction and sending the entire Top 10 into the finale.

The finalists are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. Keivo subsequently emerged as the Week Nine Head of House, selecting Aikou as his Loft Mate.

With the finale scheduled for October 4, attention now turns to which five housemates could emerge as the strongest contenders, based on available voting evidence, visibility, influence in the House and survival records.

On the basis of those indicators, Aikou, Temi Nkem, Barry, Flora and Sheba currently form a possible Top Five projection.

Aikou has combined early public support with significant late-game momentum. He was selected as one of the season's original Gambits, polling 9.10 per cent of the male Gambit vote, and was later released from the Gambit arrangement through the "Operation Release the Gambit" twist, making him eligible for the ₦160 million grand prize.

Temi Nkem, meanwhile, has recorded strong showings in unofficial fan polls during the season. She led one Week Three poll with 31 per cent and subsequently topped another online poll among nominated housemates in Week Six. While such polls do not represent official voting figures, they offer some indication of her level of support among sections of the audience.

Barry's position is strengthened by his pivotal role in the closing stages of the competition. He won the Week Eight Head of House challenge, became the first confirmed finalist and acquired the Ultimate Veto Power. He subsequently chose "Immunity For All", guaranteeing every remaining housemate a place in the finale.

Flora also enters the final stretch with evidence of substantial early public backing. She emerged as the female Gambit after polling 29.38 per cent in the vote, the highest share recorded in that Gambit contest. Like Aikou, however, she was later released from Gambit status and became eligible for the grand prize.

Sheba's case rests largely on sustained visibility and influence in the House. She was previously named Most Influential Player for Week Five and has remained prominent among the remaining contestants as the season approaches its finale.

The five are, however, far from being the only housemates with a realistic claim to strong audience support. Ricky, Keivo, Bluethopia, Tram and Oyin remain in contention, with Keivo in particular gaining momentum after winning the Week Nine HoH title, having finished runner-up in the previous HoH contest before securing the latest crown.

One major caveat is that there is no publicly available official dataset showing the current voting strength of all 10 finalists. Online polls are unofficial, vary by platform and sample size, and cannot be treated as equivalent to the show's actual voting figures.

The current projection, therefore, is not a prediction of the final result but an assessment of the available indicators at this stage of the competition: Aikou, Temi Nkem, Barry, Flora and Sheba.

Importantly, Aikou and Flora are no longer merely Gambits. Following the "Operation Release the Gambit" twist, both regained eligibility to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize and have now secured places in the finale alongside the other eight finalists.
