"Zlatan's Support Vital to Moving Things Forward, Says Poco Lee's Management"

The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has appealed for restraint regarding the spread of negative narratives connected to the entertainer's ongoing legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Poco Lee's manager, Faleye "Dee-Y" Adedoyin, also expressed appreciation for the support of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and others throughout the entertainer's legal ordeal.
According to Adedoyin, Zlatan and others had been "extremely supportive and helpful" throughout the matter, noting that their involvement had played a vital role in moving things forward.
The statement read, "We would like to publicly acknowledge that Zlatan, along with others, has been extremely supportive and helpful through this matter.
"Their involvement, support, and effort have been vital to moving things forward.
"We deeply value their ongoing support and dedication and we kindly request that everyone refrain from spreading negative narratives."
The statement was signed off as "Poco's Management."
The statement comes in the wake of reports and commentary surrounding Poco Lee's trip to the UK and the circumstances of his ongoing court case.
Social commentator Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, had earlier raised questions over reports that Poco Lee travelled to the UK for a Davido show.
In an Instagram post, VeryDarkMan alleged that Poco Lee's UK trip was tied to a Zlatan show rather than a Davido concert.
He further questioned why individuals were coming to Poco Lee's defence while the case remained before the court.
VeryDarkMan stated, "In between Poco Lee didn't travel to the UK for a Davido show, it was for a Zlatan show."
He also maintained that Poco Lee should be allowed to go through the court process, adding that "court case na stress," while expressing hope that the matter would soon be resolved.
This latest development comes amid ongoing legal proceedings against Poco Lee in the UK.
Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11 ahead of his scheduled appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, a development confirmed by the court to PUNCH Online.
However, the plea and trial preparation hearing scheduled for September 15 was adjourned to February 8, 2027, after the charge sheet was reportedly unavailable and Poco Lee failed to appear in court. The trial has since been scheduled for March 8, 2027.
Poco Lee is facing five sexual offence charges in the UK, comprising attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. He has denied all allegations and has not been convicted of any offence.
His management had previously called on the public and the media to exercise restraint, particularly regarding unverified narratives surrounding the case, stressing that allegations should not be taken as evidence of guilt.
