Mrs. Nandap joined the NIS on October 9, 1989, and was appointed Comptroller-General by President Tinubu on March 1, 2024. Her initial term was set to end on August 31, 2025.

This extension means she will now lead the NIS for another two years and four months.

Her leadership has brought significant advancements to the Nigeria Immigration Service. Border management, modernized immigration processes, and national security measures have all seen notable improvements.

President Tinubu praised the Comptroller-General for her outstanding leadership, urging her to keep focusing on the Service's key goals, which perfectly match his administration's "Renewed Hope Agenda."

He reassured the Nigeria Immigration Service of his administration's dedication to helping them fulfill their vital mission: protecting Nigeria's borders and encouraging safe, legal, and organized migration.
