New Music: Spydaman Returns with Powerful Single ‘Lamentation’

’s New Song ‘Lamentation’ Stands Up for the People

In his new single, ‘Lamentation’, Spydaman speaks up for Nigerians facing hard times. The song looks at the struggles of daily life today and also honours the memory of the late music legend, Sound Sultan. Spydaman uses the track to show his respect for Sound Sultan’s bravery and talent.

‘Lamentation’ is a powerful reaction to the economic problems in Nigeria right now. It mixes Spydaman’s classic reggae and dancehall style with lyrics that really make you think.

This is Spydaman’s first song of 2026. It shows he is determined to use his music to speak the truth to those in power. With his unique sound, he continues to be an important voice in Nigerian music.
