 Nigerian Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she and her husband are expecting their first child. 

Sharing an emotional video to mark the occasion, the actress expressed her profound gratitude to God, describing the pregnancy as both a "miracle" and a "divine gift."

“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell… a story of grace, of love, of perfect timing,” she wrote.

Dima-Okojie added, “God has been so kind, so faithful, so intentional. And now, my heart is holding a love I have never known before. I get to be a mother.”

The actress described the journey to motherhood as a profound privilege that is already fundamentally reshaping her life.

“My body is changing, my heart is expanding, and my life will never be the same again and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.

The news sparked an outpouring of love from fans and colleagues alike, following a challenging health journey for the star. After undergoing surgery for uterine fibroids in 2020, she revealed four years later that they had returned and she would be taking a “holistic approach towards shrinking” them.
