Baseline Media and Entertainment has launched Base TV, a digital television platform designed for the next generation. Tagged "The Pulse of a New Generation," the platform focuses on real-life stories and youth-driven conversations across Africa.

To stay accessible and interactive, Base TV will live primarily on Instagram and social media. Managing Director Abosede Shafe noted that this launch—joining their existing sister brand BaseFM—is a strategic move to create media that truly reflects the daily realities of young Africans.

She noted that the platform is designed to “capture real conversations, elevate authentic stories, and create a space where culture is documented as it is lived.”

Baseline Media and Entertainment is more than just a digital media firm; it has built a prestigious reputation for producing high-profile international concerts and luxury showcases. The company has hosted global icons such as Tevin Campbell, Brandy, Maxwell, Joe, Ashanti, Blackstreet, and New Edition.

In addition to international stars, the company has collaborated with leading African artists like Olamide, Seyi Shay, and Darey Art Alade, and has managed talents including Aramide, Skales, and Saeon.

With the launch of Base TV, Baseline Media is advancing its goal to create a multi-dimensional entertainment ecosystem that connects music, media, and culture across Africa and the world.
