Pluto Boys Takeover: Shallipopi, Famous Pluto, and Zerry DL Shutdown Benin

Benin City came alive last Friday as the Goldberg Golden Fiesta took over the Easter break with a historic, "Gold Standard" concert. 

Headlined by Shallipopi, the event saw a massive turnout that completely packed the Garrick Memorial, leaving crowds of fans gathered outside just to hear the music.

The energy was high from the start, fueled by the Uzama brothers—Shallipopi, Zerry DL, and Famous Pluto. Their homecoming started with visits to the Oba’s palace and the local streets, building a hype that exploded when all three appeared on stage together.

The night was a true celebration of Benin pride. DJ Neptune thrilled his hometown crowd with a high-energy set and push-up challenge, while DJ Stormy, Jerry Shaffer, and several rising local artists kept the momentum going. From the opening acts to the final performance, the crowd stayed locked in, marking the first time an artist has ever successfully sold out the Garrick Memorial.
