Rapper Offset is in stable condition at a hospital after being shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida on Monday.

The former Migos member, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was attacked in the valet area according to his spokesperson, who stated that he is currently being closely monitored by medical staff.

While police have detained two individuals for questioning, they have not yet released details regarding the situation. Offset was previously married to rapper Cardi B, and the pair share three children.

“The site is secure and there is no threat to the public,” a police statement said. “Operations continue as normal.”

The incident comes years after tragedy struck the Migos group. Fellow member Takeoff was shot dead in 2022 outside a bowling alley in Houston while with his uncle and bandmate Quavo.

Migos originally rose to global fame through their unique, rapid-fire rap style. They broke into the mainstream with the hit "Versace" and later earned Grammy nominations for their work. Their massive hit "Bad and Boujee," featuring Lil Uzi Vert, reached No. 1 in the U.S., followed by other major successes like "MotorSport" and "Walk It Talk It."

On a personal note, Offset and Cardi B married privately in 2017. However, in 2024, the Grammy-winning rapper announced that she had filed for divorce.
