"Stay Off My Image or Face Jail Time" – VeryDarkMan Issues Sharp Warning to Sowore

 VeryDarkMan (VDM) has warned Omoyele Sowore to stop using his photos or videos without permission, threatening to sue him if he continues. 

In an Instagram video, VDM told the activist that since Sowore hasn't supported him in the past, he shouldn't use his image now. He even warned Sowore to be careful so he doesn't end up in the same kind of legal trouble that recently affected the businessman Blord.

“Sowore, I know you never liked me. All these things wey you dey do online, I know. Sowore, I swear to God, if dem born you well, do the same thing wey Blord do.

“Go and use my picture on a billboard or use my picture to promote things without getting approval from me. You, Omoyele Sowore, I will send you to prison if dem born you well do wetin he do,” he said.

Africshowbiz previously reported that Blord was remanded on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, facing charges of impersonating VeryDarkMan, forgery, false endorsement, identity theft, and breach of privacy.

Following this, Omoyele Sowore weighed in on the case, arguing that Blord’s imprisonment shouldn't be viewed as a win. He described Blord's actions as an "innovative strategy" and attributed the legal outcome to the skill of VeryDarkMan’s lawyers.
