Ghanaian Fans Seek Museum Spot for Nana Akua Addo’s Iconic AMVCA Style

Ghanaian fans campaign for Nana Akua Addo’s landmark AMVCA gown to be displayed in national museum

Ghanaian fans are calling for Nana Akua Addo’s show-stopping AMVCA outfit to be preserved in the national museum.

The fashion icon turned heads at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in Lagos, wearing a silver, architectural gown inspired by Germany’s Cologne Cathedral. The bold look was widely regarded as the highlight of the night, further cementing her reputation for dramatic, high-end red-carpet fashion.

Impressed by the craftsmanship, fans are now urging for the gown to be displayed in a Ghanaian museum as a lasting tribute to the awards ceremony and to celebrate Ghana’s growing influence on the global fashion stage.

“Ghana needs to worship @nanaakuaaddo. This dress should be in the museum for every visitor to see. This dress alone is putting Ghana on the map,” Instagram user @com4fort wrote.

Others joined in praising the look. @itohowo.effiong called Nana Akua Addo “a star,” while @abhena_getty said Ghana and the world should be proud of her creativity.
