BET Awards 2026: Full List of Winners and Highlights Featuring Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, and Kendrick Lamar

American actress and singer Teyana Taylor and hip-hop duo Clipse emerged as the biggest winners at the 2026 BET Awards, taking home three trophies each during the ceremony held on Sunday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by comedian Druski and broadcast live on BET, the star-studded event also saw Kendrick Lamar and Kehlani secure two awards apiece, according to Billboard.

Taylor capped off a remarkable year by winning Best Actress, Video Director of the Year, and the newly introduced Fashion Vanguard Award. She was also honored with the prestigious Icon of the Year award, one of three honorary recognitions presented during the evening. Meanwhile, Clipse dominated the music categories, taking home Album of the Year for Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Best Group, and Best Collaboration for "Chains & Whips," their hit track featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar added to his impressive BET Awards legacy by winning Best Male Hip Hop Artist for a ninth time, further extending his record as the most decorated artist in the category's history. In the R&B field, Kehlani claimed her first Best Female R&B/Pop Artist award, ending SZA’s three-year reign, while also taking home Video of the Year for her hit song “Folded.” British singer Olivia Dean, who previously won Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards, replicated the feat on the BET stage, becoming only the fifth artist to win the category at both ceremonies.

Other major hip-hop and R&B honors went to Cardi B, who secured Best Female Hip Hop Artist for her third career win and first since 2019, and Leon Thomas, who earned his first Best Male R&B/Pop Artist title by beating out former winners Chris Brown, Usher, and Bruno Mars. In the film categories, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners won Best Movie, and Michael B. Jordan took home Best Actor for his performance in the film, marking his fourth win in the category.

The night concluded with massive celebrations of industry icons and rising talent. Music legend Ms. Lauryn Hill received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award, while veteran music executive Sylvia Rhone was honored with the Ultimate Icon Award. Additionally, 16-year-old journalist Jazlyn Guerra, widely known as Jazzy’s World TV, won the YoungStars Award in recognition of her viral celebrity interviews and growing influence in entertainment journalism.
