“What you need. Wednesday,” she wrote.

However, many Nigerians were not happy with the news. They felt it was the wrong time to promote music while the country is going through so many hardships.

Angry fans flooded her comment section, criticizing her for focusing on her music while the nation is dealing with serious problems.

“Dumbass, Nigeria is bleeding, and you’re dropping this,” one user wrote.

Another user said that even though he loves Tems, her post shows that famous Nigerian artists are selfish. He added that these big stars seem completely disconnected from the daily struggles of their fans.
