Abia State Government Covers Medical Expenses of Veteran Actress Ngozi Nwosu

In support of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu during her ongoing health challenges, the Abia State Government has released N25 million to cover her medical care.

The intervention was officially announced on Tuesday by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Justice. Justice clarified that while the state government's contribution addresses a portion of the financial requirement, additional support is still needed.

The 62-year-old actress recently disclosed that she had been hospitalized for three weeks and requires ₦30 million to undergo three urgent surgical procedures.

While expressing gratitude to Governor Otti for his timely support of the Cultural Practices in the state, Justice appealed to philanthropic individuals and organizations to assist in covering the remaining balance of Ms. Nwosu’s medical expenses.
