Singer Jaywon Supports Calls Advising South African Artist Tyla Against Performing in Nigeria

Nigerian musician Oluwajuwonlo Iledare Popularly known as Jaywon has added his voice to growing online calls urging Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla to cancel her scheduled performances in Nigeria.

Jaywon criticized the "Water" singer over her perceived silence regarding past incidents of xenophobic violence against foreign nationals in South Africa. 

In a statement shared on social media, he contended that she should refrain from performing in the country at this time, asserting that the current atmosphere is unsuitable for her visit.
