Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has addressed a viral video that sparked concerns over his well-being, urging Nigerians to focus on the country’s challenges instead of his private life.
The widely shared clip captured a seemingly disoriented Anuku talking to himself in public, drawing a crowd of onlookers and prompting a woman in the footage to call for urgent intervention.
However, Anuku later released a follow-up video dismissing the panic, assuring the public that he is in good health and questioning why everyone is so preoccupied with his personal affairs.
"Y'all haven't seen anything yet. Y'all should face your government and leave me alone. I'm good," says veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku.

“You all need to face the government and leave me the hell alone. I am good. Do your thing and leave me alone, leave me the hell alone.
“You all don’t have anything better to do? Go and do something.”
This marks the second time in recent years that videos of the actor have sparked public concern over his well-being. A similar situation occurred in 2022 when footage of Anuku wandering the streets in tattered clothing went viral, alarming both fans and colleagues.
He later cleared the air, explaining that the clip was simply from a movie set and accusing those who shared it of trying to ruin his reputation.
