Teni Drops New EP, ‘The Wellness Package’

 LAGOS, Nigeria — Nigerian music star Teniola Apata Popularly known as Teni has unveiled her latest EP, The Wellness Package, a six-track body of work exploring personal growth, mental well-being, and intentional living.

The project initiates a new strategic partnership between Teni and Gamma to expand her global footprint. Gamma executives—including CEO Larry Jackson, Gamma Africa President Sipho Dlamini, and Vice President Larry Gaaga—heralded the project as a landmark moment in her career, citing her exceptional storytelling and universal resonance.

Featuring guest appearances from Olamide (on "Zion"), Chike (on "Wuru Maya"), and highlife group The Cavemen, the EP captures Teni's refreshed mindset, grounding her music in themes of love, community, and self-discovery.

“It is just how I was feeling. It was a new year. I was feeling the energy. You can pause but never stop,” she said.

Beyond the music, Teni has launched a comprehensive, fan-focused campaign to complement the EP. The rollout includes a cinematic teaser, the Wellness Package Run Club, an interactive treasure hunt with exclusive wellness boxes, and an immersive listening party—initiatives designed to foster community, movement, and shared experiences.

The project builds on the momentum of its lead single, "Zion," which has surpassed 20 million streams across major digital streaming platforms, sparked over 500,000 user-generated TikTok videos, and topped YouTube’s trending charts in Nigeria while performing strongly on Spotify and Apple Music.
