LAGOS, NIGERIA — The Big Brother Naija Season 11 "Show Ya Sef" edition has officially recorded its initial set of departures as the race for the grand prize intensifies. Following the show's premiere on July 26, 2026—which introduced 24 contestants into the Big Brother house—four housemates have departed the competition as of August 17, 2026. Three exits resulted from standard public voting, while one contestant opted for a voluntary departure.

Martins and Mercedes became the first contestants to leave the show after receiving the lowest proportion of viewer votes during the initial Week 2 live eviction. Speaking with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Martins expressed confidence in his future endeavors, while Mercedes shared plans to scale her businesses, pursue entertainment roles, and raise funds for her father's surgery. In Week 3, 24-year-old event planner Kamsy Uzoma became the third evicted housemate after securing 2.41% of the public vote. Following her exit, Kamsy expressed gratitude for the experience, addressed her bond with contestant Gerard, and confirmed she would be redirecting her focus back to her business.

Separately from the eviction process, Week 3 Head of House Neche (Chinaecherem Maduagwu) chose to voluntarily withdraw from the reality show due to pressing personal matters, bringing the total number of departures to four. With 20 housemates remaining in the house to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize, upcoming nomination rounds and voting outcomes will continue to shape the ongoing competition.
