Basketmouth’s Ex-Wife Fires Back at Paternity Fraud Rumors with Legal Threat

 Elsie Uzoma Okpocha, the ex-wife of veteran comedian Basketmouth, has issued a stern warning to those spreading rumors regarding the end of her marriage. 

Following reports of a split in December 2022 after 12 years of marriage, social media has been rife with allegations of paternity fraud.

Through her legal team, Primeview Legal, Elsie officially denied claims that a DNA test triggered the divorce. 

The statement characterized the rumors as "false and unfounded," warning that any individuals or blogs continuing to propagate these stories face legal action for defamation and invasion of privacy. She highlighted the severe psychological distress these reports cause to her first child.
