Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay has announced her return to the screen, revealing plans for a new film project after stepping away from major productions for a while.

The actress shared the news in an Instagram video filmed on set in Enugu State, speaking of her joy at returning to what she loves most.

She expressed her gratitude for personal growth, fresh opportunities, and the chance to keep telling stories through film.

Annie added that her passion for acting remains as strong as ever, describing the move as a brand-new chapter.

“There’s something so beautiful about finding your way back to the things that make your soul come alive… 

Being back on set, creating stories, becoming different characters, and doing what I truly love reminds me of why I started this journey in the first place. Acting will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m honestly so happy to be back doing what brings me joy.

“Grateful for growth, new beginnings, and every opportunity to keep telling stories through film. The magic is still there… and this is only the beginning again”, she concluded.

The announcement marks a brand-new chapter for Annie Macaulay following her split from her estranged husband, the Nigerian singer Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known as 2Baba.
