Peller Confirms Payment of Jarvis’ Bride Price at Introduction Ceremony
Popular TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has announced that he has completed the traditional marriage rites by paying the bride price for his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, during their family introduction ceremony.
The news was shared in a video posted to his Instagram page on Sunday, which showed the couple dressed in full traditional attire as both families gathered to mark the occasion.
In the clip, Peller is seen wearing a white shirt paired with a George wrapper and coral beads, while Jarvis looks stunning in a red wrapper, matching coral accessories, and a beaded crown, perfectly capturing a rich, traditional wedding aesthetic.
Captioning the post, Peller expressed joy over the milestone, writing: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love.”
He added that the ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship, noting: “A beautiful journey has officially begun. She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together.”
The TikToker also thanked both families for their support and described himself as “officially off the market.”
The couple, who shot to fame through their collaborative TikTok videos and livestreams, have had a highly publicised relationship marked by multiple engagements and emotional breakups.
Their recent ceremony comes just weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis at a beachfront hotel in Accra, Ghana—an event that quickly went viral online. He had previously proposed in 2024, though Jarvis initially downplayed it as a "promise ring situation" before later confirming that the relationship was indeed heading towards marriage.
The romance has had its fair share of public ups and downs, including a widely reported, emotional livestream in which Peller reacted to a breakup, followed shortly after by a brief reconciliation.
Despite the turbulence, this latest family introduction appears to signal a formal step forward for the couple.
