Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, signaling what he considers a new phase in his 15-year music career.

The 13-track project incorporates a diverse mix of African and international collaborators, including Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, FOLA, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay.

ORIADÉ stands as Davido’s most concise album to date, departing from the standard 17-track structure used across his previous five studio albums.

The project is anticipated to mark another major chapter in the singer’s career, with an upcoming world tour expected to feature surprise guest appearances during performances.

Davido initially announced the July 31, 2026 release date on June 29 across social media. The announcement was accompanied by a video depicting him in regal Yoruba attire, set against a traditional Yoruba eulogy that mirrors the theme of the album's title.

“The kingdom expands. Chosen long before the throne,” Davido captioned the post.

The release marks his sixth LP and seventh overall major body of work since making his mainstream debut in Nigeria over ten years ago.

Davido previously teased the project with its lead single, I Know Who I Be, featuring South African acts JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay. The track reflects on his 15-year career trajectory and key achievements. Its music video visits the childhood home where his career began and includes appearances from long-time collaborators and core team members.

The second single, Gimme Dat Ting, featuring NO11, merges Afrobeats with Amapiano, focusing on themes of self-assurance, drive, accomplishment, and the fruits of his labor.

Speaking in a recent interview with American publication Notion, Davido explained that the record includes music tailored to resonate with diverse audiences.

Overall, the project marks a clear structural shift from his earlier catalogue, all of which featured 17 tracks per album.

The tracklist for ORIADE includes:

Following the success of his 5IVE tour—which featured major stops across five Nigerian cities—Davido has begun announcing dates for a new world tour in support of the album.

With ORIADÉ, the award-winning artist is poised to enter the next phase of his career while further broadening his reach both across Africa and on the global music stage.
