Globacom Honours Business Partners at Exclusive 2026 Reward Gala
LAGOS, NIGERIA – Telecommunications giant Globacom recently hosted its nationwide trade partners to an exclusive evening of celebration at the "2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala," held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The high-profile event was organized to recognize and reward the company’s business partners for their exceptional performance during the first half of the year, while fostering motivation for future growth.
In his welcome address, Abdul Rasaq Ande, Globacom’s Cluster Head for Lagos 2, emphasized that the gala was designed to celebrate more than just individual milestones. He noted that the event serves as a testament to the synergy and shared vision that continuously drive innovation within the company's ecosystem.
As part of the mid-year review, deserving partners from across the country were presented with substantial performance-based rewards aimed at incentivizing sustained excellence in the coming years.
The evening featured a sophisticated blend of networking and premium entertainment. Renowned live band maestro Segun Johnson delivered a captivating performance, blending highlife and Afrobeat rhythms to the delight of the guests.
The event’s hosting duties were managed by ace comedian Godwin Komone (Gordons) and prominent TV host and brand influencer Mo Abebe. The gala also drew high-profile attendance from notable industry figures, including brand influencer KieKie and celebrated Nollywood actor and producer Toyin Abraham, adding further prestige to the exclusive gathering.

A total of 115 outstanding business partners from various trade segments across the country were recognized for their contributions, receiving millions of Naira in cash prizes and premium incentives.
The definitive highlight of the evening was the presentation of brand-new vehicles—including the Suzuki Alto, Kia Rio, Toyota Corolla, and Toyota Camry—to the top-performing partners across multiple categories.
Top National Honour: Demi Global Resources clinched the evening’s most prestigious accolade, the Top National Partner Star Award. In recognition of its exceptional contribution to Globacom’s nationwide success, the company was presented with a brand-new 2026 Toyota Camry.
Cultural Excellence: The gala also featured a "Rep Your Region" best-dressed competition, celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited emerged as winners in the male and female categories respectively, each securing a ₦500,000 cash prize for their exceptional runway presentations.
