Sean “Diddy” Combs is projected to leave prison earlier than anticipated after his release date was advanced again, according to the Daily Mail.

The 56-year-old music mogul is currently scheduled for release from the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, in New Jersey, on February 5, 2028, per official records from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons.

This recent adjustment advances his projected release by over two weeks from his previous date of February 20, 2028.

Reports indicate that Combs’ release timeline has undergone multiple revisions since he began serving his 50-month federal sentence in October 2025.

His initial projected release was scheduled for June 2028 before being incrementally adjusted to April, February, and January. It was later set for February 20, 2028, prior to the latest modification to February 5.

The official reasons behind these recurring adjustments remain undisclosed.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons previously stated that, owing to safety, privacy, and security protocols, it does not disclose information regarding inmate confinement conditions, transition plans, or specific rationale for release date changes.

Combs was sentenced following his 2025 conviction on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

The presiding judge imposed a sentence of four years and two months, alongside five years of supervised release.

The updated timeline follows reports of an altercation involving Combs and another inmate at the Fort Dix facility.

According to reports cited by the Daily Mail, a physical dispute occurred between Combs and another inmate, prompting correctional officers to intervene. Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement.
